Outstanding Performances at State Karate Championships 2024

Venue: Maa Shitla Banquet Hall, Sheetla Chowk Baijnath, June 26, 2024 – The Sub Junior State Karate Championships 2024 witnessed remarkable achievements by young karatekas from various schools. Guided by the expertise of Shihan Anil Kumar Ram, President and Chief Technical Director of the World Ankurastra Shotokan Karate Federation, and General Secretary Shihan Ritika Ram, these students showcased exceptional talent.

From Green Field School, Akshita (Class 8 Rose) won the Bronze Medal in Kata, while Arushi Prasher (Class 8 Rose) secured the Silver Medal in Kata. Akankshi (Class 8 Rose) also earned a Bronze Medal in Kata.

Anvi Kapoor from Royal Cambridge global school yol, distinguished herself by winning two Gold Medals in both Kata and Kumite. Similarly, Sejal from Dhouladhar Public School achieved two Gold Medals in Kata and Kumite.

Shivam Kumar Ram from Junior Achievers’ A Play School took home a Gold Medal in Kata, and Pragyan Guleria from Delhi Publc School (Tiara) Kangra earned a Silver Medal in Kata.

Students from Sambota Tibetan, Mewoen Tsuglag Petoen School demonstrated exceptional prowess:

  • Dhesel Tenzin: Gold in Kata and Bronze in Kumite
  • Chokzey Tenzin: Silver in Kata and Bronze in Kumite
  • Tenzin Losel: Gold in Kata and Gold in Kumite
  • Pelha Tenzin: Gold in Kata and Silver in Kumite
  • Youtso Tenzin: Gold in Kata and Bronze in Kumite
  • Choeyang Tenzin: Silver in Kata

These achievements reflect the high-quality coaching and mentorship provided by Shihan Anil Kumar Ram and his team. Special recognition goes to Hanshi Janakraj Jamwal, mentor of the Karate Association of Himachal Pradesh, and Sensei Daman Jamwal, General Secretary of the Karate Association of Himachal Pradesh, for creating such a valuable platform for these young athletes.
